I have had a lot of questions in regrades to my work time (center time) since I started posting my lessons on-line. I thought that I would take this opportunity to answer all of those questions at one time so I created a video that will take you through how I manage my work time and small groups. If you found this video helpful please leave me a comment.

We created a graphing activity on the floor by using colored masking tape and die cut apples. Children used real apples to graph with and then used the graphing worksheet to record their findings on. Children discovered that there was more red apples and the green and yellow apples had the same amount. Grab your free graphing worksheet here.
Children worked together stacking apples blocks up in order from 1 to 10. Each child stood next to the apple stack while another child counted how many apples they were. Next the children used pre-cut apples on a worksheet to show how many apples tall they were. I placed this worksheet in children's DRDP Assessment Portfolio to show children's understanding of measurement. Grab your free set of worksheets bellow. ![]()
