We started the week off by reading The Family Book by Todd Parr. After we had a group discussion about what makes a family and how many family members were in each of our families. How many people in your family?Family FeastOur family feast is rapidly approaching. This is the time of year where our families come and enjoy a family style meal with their children. This event is a great way for our families to get to know one anther and become part of the our school community. What's for Dessert?Each year the children make a dessert that is served at the family feast. Here is a list of ideas that the children came up with. Family Place MatsEach family drawing will be laminated and used at table to mark each families special spot.
